Greecologies

Greecologies

Greecologies, an upscale Greek yogurt shop, perfectly encapsulates the best of old and new. It utilizes traditional methods to produce high quality products, yet it also values modern design, as seen in its interior. This white, gallery-esque store creates a fresh and simplistic environment, which is resemblant of its great products.

Two types of yogurt are served (in adorable, handmade clay pots): traditional Greek yogurt and classic strained yogurt. The yogurts can be paired with a variety of unique toppings that are sourced from Greece. Rose petal preserve, pine tree honey, and bergamot were a few of the toppings that stood out to me.

Though their yogurt is definitely the star, great coffee, baked goods, and other traditional Greek foods are served. They even have a few dairy-free and vegan treats for those with dietary restrictions.

It's evident how passionate and knowledgable the staff is about what they do. The general manager, Aki Suzuki, voluntarily gave me a tour of the shop and spent time explaining the process of yogurt making. Towards the back of the store, he showed me the viewing window to the lab where you can actually watch the making of the yogurt in store. They really pride themselves on their transparency.

If you like great atmospheres, service, and Greek yogurt, then you should definitely check this place out!
